Si tratta di quattro muri paralleli con paramento a cortina, che delimitano degli ambienti pavimentati in opus spicatum. Nelle cantine del lato verso il giardino del palazzo, si trovano i resti più antichi dell’intero complesso, consistenti in un cippo fluviale della terminazione eseguita dai censori P. Servilio Isaurico e M. Valerio Messalla negli anni 55-54 a.C., allo scopo di delimitare una fascia costiera non edificabile. In età flavia, quando questi divieti furono in parte aggirati, nell’area venne costruito un grande portico – del quale si conservano alcune strutture – all’interno del quale fu inglobato il cippo.In uno degli ambienti dell’ala che prospetta su via dei Farnesi, vi è infine il reperto più importante dell’intero complesso.
